There is nothing like the pure joy of a child seeing his/her birthday cake for the first time. It is a truly magical moment that makes every second spent making a cake worthwhile. From first birthday cake smashes to sweet sixteen celebrations, Crystal can turn your vision into a delicious cake your child will love and remember for years to come.
Kid Cake pricing begins at $150 and is based on size and final design. First birthday smash cakes are available beginning at $50.
First Birthday Smash Cakes
First birthdays are a very special milestone and Crystal loves being part of these celebrations by designing a show cake and matching smash cake for your little one. You never know how your child will enjoy their smash cake – some sample a dainty bite and others really get into the action and end up with cake EVERYWHERE! It is always a fun time to see their personality shine through when they are given their own personal cake to enjoy.
Smash Cakes are available in a 6” size which works well for formal photo shoots and in a 4” Mini Smash Cake size that Crystal decorates to match with a larger show cake. Smash Cakes are always made at the last minute to ensure frosting is as soft (and messy) as possible.

Exploding with Color
While the focus of most cake design is on the outside of the cake, the inside of the cake can be just as fun and surprising. Crystal offers rainbow swirl or other colored cake layers, as well as a sprinkle or candy explosion featuring custom mixes. The sprinkle or candy explosion is best suited to ages 4 and up (adults love it too!) Please refer to the Flavors page for additional information on these options.
